Adair Rural Fire and Rescue is looking for volunteers to join our department.
Our members come from many different backgrounds and professions. Some of us have previous medical or fire experience, others started our fire service careers at Adair. No experience is necessary. The department provides all the training and equipment you will need to safely and effectively respond to emergencies. New recruits attend a fire academy and emergency medical responder certification program. Volunteering will challenge and reward you. The skills and experiences will stay with you for a lifetime.
We are looking for volunteers to respond out of our main station in Adair Village and the Soap Creek Valley substation. We run about 200 calls a year and have a weekly drill every Wednesday from 7:00 – 10:00pm. See how we spend our Wednesday nights in the pictures below.
For more information, call our station 541-745-7212 or email Chief Aaron Harris aaron@adair-rural-fire.com
